Strength:

MIT quality. Sound quality.

Weakness:

Discontinued

Great construction. Typical MIT quality. Pitty they had to discontinue the TMAX line. Best performance to dollar there is! I cant hear a difference between this cable and their top-of-the-line Digital coax.

Strength:

Great soundstage, good bass and excellent uncolored reproduction.

Weakness:

None so far.

Great cable for its price. Nice construction. But what I really like is its uncolored sound, bigger sound stage and excellent bass reproduction, without being boomy. It represents a great enhancement to my modest system.

Similar Products Used:

Radio Shack. Other cables used were both optical (Vampire Wire Optilink2 and Monster Cable).

Strength:

Superior transmission of sound and voice. Better dynamics at all frequencies.

Weakness:

None

This is the best digital interconnect on the market. I have tried others by monster cable, ect. And the transmission capabilites cannot be beaten. I was not only able to hear a difference in sound I was able to measure it on my SPL meter. The sound at all frequencies was not as muddy or sluggish and there was more information especially at the extreme ends (above 10kHz and below 250Hz) even at low volumes (-75dB).

Monster Cable (several versions) Radio shack (generic -don''t ask!)
