Strength:

Detail, bass response, liquid midrange

Weakness:

none

Outstanding cables - focus, detail, natural midrange, smooth extended highs, deep and detailed bass response in my system. What more could I want? These cables are extraordinary and can't compare to the ones I listed above. Everyone has different tastes - thank goodness, but this series of cables should be auditioned by anyone not completely satisfied with current setup. The impendance matching interconnects makes alot of sense, but beware, they are relatively new and experimentation is a must (even when you get manufacturing recomendations). Not every component has a set input impedance and depending on situations like volume settings the impedance changes, audtions are a must. When you get the right impedance match (high, medium, or low) it is really possible in my opinion to synergistically match your system up with the best cable for your components. I can't imagine ever changing unless a case of audiophile nervosa strikes which is always a possiblilty. The upgrade from the 330 series 3 was significant! I am using these cables between a Meridian DAC and CJ PV10 (Low) and Classe CA200 (medium). They are not cheap but you get a big bang for you hard earned buck!

The MIT MI-330 Shotgun interconnects have been around for probably 8 ormore years. They still rank in the top tier of interconnects. Immediately
on placement in a system, one should notice a much improved transparency,
coherence and focus of instrumentation. High frequencies are extended without
tizziness. It's as though each note was smoothed off of any sharp edges.
If a system is lean, it will add richness to the midrange.

I had been using Monster M-1000 MKII interconnects, which are decent (not great)
and the Shotguns were a substantial improvement. If a system tends towards
"plumpness" or being fat-sounding, these may not be ideal. However, in most
systems, they perform exceptionally well....highly recommended! (available
on the used market for $175-250 per 1-meter pair). I've also heard that MIT
cables in general work better with solid-state electronics rather than tubes -
I have no experience, so I can't confirm/deny this.

Strength:

Air ,detail, smooth highs, accurate deep sound stage

Weakness:

Terminator boxes can make routing a little tricky.

Once well burned in and in the right system, these cables do everything just right. An accurate wide, deep and 3 D soundstage ,with precise placement of performers.Detail in all ranges.Non harsh highs, smooth mids and tight extended bass.My amp is a McCormack DNA-1 Deluxe, preamp is a Audible Illusions M3A,and my front end is a Cal Alpha/Delta combo. Both tube components have hand picked tubes. All components are well isolated in addition to being on a sand filled Sanus rack. All power cords are DIY,using Audioquest cable with top connectors. The amp has a dedicated line and the rest of components are plugged into a PS Audio PP -300. All cables are elevated off of the floor and are separated.Buying used cables and matched up with the same speaker cable will optimize the sound. If you shop the best used prices, you can easily get your money back on a resale,if these cables do not match well in your particular system. 5+ in the right system.
