Strength:

Natural presentation over all the audio spectrum
Good and in some cases excellent 3D sound stage
Strong bass fundimentals with good timbre.

Weakness:

Too expensive. But this is true of all cables.

System:
Marantz CD63 (Modified)
Rega-111
Audiolab 8000 amps
DIY 3-way 'speakers (top rated parts and professionaly measured 32HZ-18KHZ +/-3db)

I bought the cable based on your WWW site reviews, UK magazine ratings and confirmed by listening to a USA collegues bi-wired 4TC. Being an electrical engineer and aware of real manufacturng cost, I could not justify to myself the cost of anything other than 8PR.
I bought the cable to install in my system for "domestic harmony" reasons. Removing "ugly" grey bi-wired Linn K20.
I wired with single wire termination at the amp end and bi-wired 4x4 into my 3-way 'speakers.
The "Domestic Engineering Department" report the cable weave is excellent, looks good and lays neatly and kink free around the floor. AND YES its sounds good too.
Domestics apart the important stuff is how it sounds.
The improvement in detail, imaging, dynamics, timbre and bass was emeadiatly noticable. Female voices especialy seem less harsh, male voices more natural and less chesty. The overall presentation is more natuaral and less forced.
Dynamics are good with clear improvements in rim shots and accoustic guitar transients. The bass responce is more full, I hesitate to say it sounds like another octave, I think this is more a timbre effect rather than a supressed effect with the K20 which sounded mono-tone in comparason.
In summary, I was surprised at the improvement, bearing in mind the K20 is not a bad cable. Continuing listening appears to continue with the noticed improvements.
I have now re-installed the K20 in my Nait-2 / Mission office set up ......... and guess what it sounds excellent with improvemnts over the QED 79. Could it be a cable / amp match issue.
