Strength:

Does what most better cables do.

Weakness:

Grainy

I found these power cords to be slightly grainy. There are better at this price point.

Strength:

Soundstage, bass, smooth integration of drivers from tweeter to mid to woofer

Weakness:

none

These cables have been in my system for 3 years. When I first used a Pro-AC11 on my Classe CA-300, the entire audio presentation filled out to a rich, deep audio hot-tub. Recently I purchased a pair of Rogue M-120 mono blocks. I used the stock power cords until my new HT cables came in. The difference was even more astounding than with the Classe''. I give you my highest recommendation to research this product. Contact Bob at audionut.com. He beat everyone else''s prices on all my Harm Tech cables. He will work hard for your business. I am posting his name because I feel like I can trust his service.

Strength:

Unbeatable value/performance ratio

Weakness:

Why didn't I do this sooner......

If your components have removeable IEC power cords that appear to be el cheapo generic cords, time to upgrade.
HT Pro-AC11 is so cheap, $180 new and @$125 used at Audiogon
and here, you can't loose. Begin with most sensitive gear
first and keep going as budget allows: 1)CD player 2)pre-amp
3)amp. CD player becomes more 3D with improved bass and richer, cleaner midrange response. Because you have cleaned up electrical power supply, you should be hearing less distortion and coloration. There are better AC cords but they cost much more, this is good starting point, and may be all you need. Try CD player first, this will be biggest improvement, my system

Strength:

Very good build quality, great customer support, balanced sound, no emphasis at any particular frequency.

I installed it late at night, and even at low volume the improvement was immediately apparent. I let it run all night to begin the break-in process. There was a sense of the room ambience present, more weight in the bass, higher output, and a general feeling of lively energy. Admittedly these aspects could be called "subtleties" that some people may not notice, but for those who have the experience to hear the differences they are significant. I am satisfied that the effort I made to change to Harmonic Technology cables was worth it, I can now enjoy the pride of ownership I hoped to find. Can't wait for improvement as break in happens.

Air,bass,smooth treble

Weakness:

None that I can fid

This powercord was put into two different systems, and it was unmistakeable, that it performed better than many others. The thing that I liked is that hihat crashes sounded REAL,instead of a brashness, that most others have. The increase in all around air and bass was amazing.A truely great product at a great price!

Strength:

Lively open presentation that was astonishing. A wonderful AC power cord upgrade.

Weakness:

This is not the ultimate, but an excellent value for money upgrade to a mid-range hi-fi system.

This is an amazing cable that completely enlivened and regenerated my mid-range system that I used in my study. I had previously installed the Pro-Ac 11 on the pre-amp of my home theater set up. Honestly with the pre-amp, power, CD player, DVD player, VCR, LD player and the different runs of power, speaker cables and interconnects etc it was difficult to determine if the Harmonic Technology power cord made much difference.

However I recently upgraded my pre-amp cable in the living room and transferred the ProAc11 to my room system and onto the Arcam 8SE CD player. I threw away my AFA Ares power cord and installed the Pro-Ac 11. This was an isolated upgrade so it was easy for me to ascertain the impact of using the Pro-Ac 11. The change in sound was astonishing and more than papable. Audio enthusiasts say upgrading the power cord will lead to the biggest transformation in performance and I was skeptical until this. It's true!

There was an immediate transparency to the music. Imaging was more holographic, the high frequencies were clearer and the separation of instruments was lifelike! Soundstaging and focus were strikingly sharp with a bass weight and drive that thumped, thumped and thumped without being too heavy. The best way I can describe the Pro-Ac 11 is that it is akin to adding an immediate transparency and incredibly smooth detail to my system. The music seemed so effortless and presentation was livelier. Maybe my original set up was too warm and veiled, but installing this power cord was a ten-fold increase in the enjoyment of my study room set. An excellent upgrade for a mid-range system and highly recommended!

A couple of weeks ago I replaced the factory power cord with the Harm Tech on my Threshold T200 amp. Wow! It made quite a difference. More then I expected. More air, more space, greater dynamics...partcularly in the bass. A "tweak" that works!

Strength:

Like Nothing

Weakness:

IEC

I still looking for another a powercord with a hubbell hospital grade plug under USD200.
I plugged it into my Passlab X2 pre-amp, like "nothing". Since others I tried have something.
1. Stupid Mini lab cable, try to make my X2 run slower and blur.
2. NBS Dragon cant fly but coloured.
3. XLO Purple give strong resolution as HT, however forgot some extreme high and low.
4. Acoustic Zen Tsunami(USD350), same cable?? same gauge?? same father?? may be slightly better on low freq control(plug to power amp), may be some audiophile feel more comfortable on the price(pro11 too cheap), may be good look in the night (sparkle jacket). Certainly, it cost you double to get a leviton plug.
5. As a pure music listener instead of a equipment/cable player, I preferred to keep a "nothing" cable on X2 in order to listen what ryuichi sakamoto CD played as close as I heard in his Live concert.

Strength:

Bass extension

Weakness:

cost

Bought to replace the stock cord on Sony 777ES SACD player from other 777 owners recommendations. Immediately noticed bass extension. It also changed the sound of Kind of Blue, Miles Davis, Sony SACD; less shrill, corrected some of the tone and pitch problems (I heard) on this disc. Why does it work? All cables are antennae and propagate RF into connected components. Most after market power cords are shielded and or twisted to cancel out induced noise, some even use filter networks or chokes. This cable appears to be a bargain compared to others.
