Strength:

smooth as silk, tight extended bass

Weakness:

for this price range none

This is a beautiful cable, for real music lovers. Just stop analyzing and listen to beautiful music this produces! Rich
smooth mid range, does not sacrifice detail to acheive this like some cables(Monster). Three dimensional images created are excellent. I listen to a lot of Cocteau Twins, Dead Can Dance, Enya etc soundstage is wide and deep, beautiful
vocal reproduction.

The bass response is hands down superior to other cables in
this price range, deep and tight, very satisfying, I was going to upgrade my speakers for more low end till I tried
Cardas Cross! I returned Kimber SS, as it had great detail
but was not sweet and full sounding, too bright for extended
listening. I kept SilverAudio Silver Bullet 4, another excellent cable, but I slightly prefer Cardas Cross. Cardas
sounds good out of box but improve after couple days burn in. I have an order for Cardas speaker cable in now......
My system:

Musical Fidelity X-Ray CDP
Cardas Cross 1/2M Interconnect
Musical Fidelity A3 Integrated Amp
AQ midnight 6ft speaker cable
Spendor SP1 3-way British speaker

Strength:

Detailed, warm, lifelike, and dimensional

Weakness:

none

Before break-in the Cardas Cross had an edgy glare on high level vocals. After three days continuously on an FM tuner the glare vanished and the cable sounded great.

With Quadlink 5C cables I had a very neutral sound balance. The Cross interconnect change added more detail and warmth. Since my system is phono/tube based I want a warm lifelike response. Just the ticket with the Cross. If you like cold, hard, sterile sound don't bother with these cables.
