Strength:

very nice for the price.

Weakness:

long break-in.

Very nice cable for the money. I don't think speaker cable has a large influence over the sound of any system but this stuff is nice and neutral and very open so all the detail comes thru without any added coloration. I purchased the wire from Oliver at Delve audio and he is very cool to deal with, a welcome change from the world of stereo salespeople, would and have done business with him again.
Recommended.

I find these cables to be superb. I was using a pair of budget Tara biwire cable and decided it was probably a weak link in my system. I decided to give a single run of the Oval 12 cable a try.

Out of the box I did not like these cables at all. They sounded flat, a little confused and way too warm for my tastes. But, I let them run in for a while, and by about 75 hours or so they really changed a lot, opening up in a big way. They continued to change even well over 100 hours on them. The lengthy break in payed off: these cables are superb. I find them to be very linear and fairly neutral in tone with just a slight hint of warmth. They are very natural sounding cables, there really isn't any colorations to speak of other than the slight warmth- which is something I don't mind at all. From top to bottom these cables just seem very "right." The biggest thing these cables brought to my system was the sense of openess and dimensionality of the soundstage. The soundstage really opened up big time with these cables, with a very realistic sense of layering, depth and hall characteristics. Lots of micro details, very high transparency.

These cables take a long time to break in, and I have heard the Oval 9's take even more time. Give them plenty of time before getting too critical with them. These cables brought as much of an improvement as an interconnect upgrade without a doubt. Probably very hard to beat at this price.

Strength:

Build quality, appearance (lavender and clear), soundstage and crispness

Weakness:

I only hear good things, another company would have to point out the negatives!

I have listened religiously wanting to send them back to get a refund...................... you have 30 days to decide...... my time was up a week ago.....
I listen to music mainly, have them mated to NHT Super Zero's...... with Apt Holman preamp..... and a Klipsch KSW 12 sub... on 30" stands......the music is as clean as it can be......... I mean you would have to triple the price of this set up for me or you to hear the difference..
These cables do not hide anything, they do not mask, or change what you are listening to. Like I said I wanted to send them back........ they are as clean as I have heard. Give them a listen, the Zero's disappear and the Klipsch is seamless and as tight as anything that I have listened to under a thousand............... I wish you all could listen to your favorites at my house you'd buy this cable....

thanks for the fair price!
