Yes, a power cable makes a big difference even in my mid-fi system (Arcam/Audiolab/Mission)

None really, just wish the IEC connector were a tighter fit.

The gentleman below is quite WRONG. There are valid reasons why the last couple of metres of cable are significant even if the current has gotten to that point in long runs of ordinary domestic wiring.
Anyway, I'm not going to get into the physics as I'm no expert. What I do know is that in my modest system I could certinly hear a difference, and not a particularly subtle one. Better sound in every respect. Highlights are the increased soundstage depth, tighter bass and more detail at lower listening levels.
Don't know how much of a difference really high-end power cords will make, but at the price these are great and I bought a second for my CD player (also worthwhile).
Any day now my new amplifier should arrive, and I'm sure the LAT will pring out the best in the upgrade. Can see myself having these for many years.

Better bass, better details

I was not sure about this purchase but I needed a longer
power cord for my preamp. I finally decided to take the AC-2. (8 feet)

It is now plugged in one end in a Panamax 1000+ and the other in my Quad 34. LAT wrote in the notice included that it will takes 100 hours for the burn-in and I can tell you that we heard a BIG improvment in 5 minutes... I am still "shocked" about it!(I don't know what could change in 75 hours!)

The general clarity growed about 10% and the bass is now more tighter and powerful, even at very low volume

Next time, when I will choose a new component, you can be sure I will compare them WITH a power cord I can afford,(probably this one!) then I will be SURE I am listening to "all" the potential of the product!
