Strength:

rugged construction nutral sound and rejects emi/ir very well. good background black.hi end quality at consumer price.

i use these cables particularly on my d/d dts processor for all 6 channels to the amp. they are very nutral (don't make music bright or dull) while keeping the sound stage anotomicly correct. i got them at home base for 23.60 each for .5 m length. the cables are thick and rugged. you can tug on the cable with out fear that you will rip the ends out. the black background they provide is exellent. they reject emi/ir very well and give a very high price to performance ratio. i am very happy w/them and would buy them again. i would say that they are a little better than my acoustic research pro cables that i use on my cd player and mini disc player on the anolog out. after a complete revamp of my system, me and some friends conducted an a/b/x test. if you change your cables, and add a line conditioner to your system it is a night and day differance. i personnaly feel that monster gets a bad rap. for consumer class and high end they make a top notch product. if you are a complete audiophile and you are compairing monster to say a pair of $12,000 dielectric liquid filled cables of course they can't compete.

Strength:

NOT SURE OF ANY YET

Weakness:

REALLY KILLED THE MIDRANGE AND DYNAMICS ON MY SOUND, REATTATCHED THE CHEAPO CABLES AND ARE MUCH HAPPIER. SPENT 240.00 TOTAL AND I AM STILL IN THE MARKET FOR CABLES. WILL TRY HOOKING THEM UP AGAIN , BUT EXPECT SAME RESULTS. YES CABLES REALLY CAN MAKE A HUGE DIFFERANCE. I HAVE FOUND IT TAKES SOME TRIAL AND ERROR.

EXPECTED GREAT PERFORMANCE BY SPENDING THE MONEY BUT LIKE ANYTHING , THIS WAS NOT THE CASE. I FOUND THAT THESE CABLES REALLY DULLED MY MIDRANGE SOUND. THIS CAN BE QUITE A TASK FOR A PAIR OF KLIPSCH KLF 20'S PUSHED WITH PARISOUND HCA 2205 AMP. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THESE MIGHT NOT WORK GREAT FOR YOUR SYSTEM. AS STATED ABOVE IT TAKES SOME TESTING OF YOUR OWN.

Strength:

Good signal transfer

Weakness:

Not the best cable

This cable is better than the "in the box cables but thats about it. The review below this one is accurate, low end monster cables are all the same. However the cables where there is a real difference cost 300 dollars per meter. However, they are better than radioshack or the free "in the box cables."
