DH Labs AIR Matrix Interconnect Cables

DH Labs AIR Matrix Interconnect Cables

DESCRIPTION

The debut of the Air Matrix represents a new era in interconnect design, utilizing DH Labs' proprietary new Air Matrix dielectric material. The use of this material, which is actually 60% air, takes the final step toward no dielectric at all. As a result, soundstage detail and depth are energized, delivering razor sharp focus, and making listening a near visual experience. This dynamic level of performance further enhances the cable neutrality that has become the Silver Sonic trademark.

Strength:

Great Sound, Great Value, Dealer Support. Transparent, extended high frequencies

Weakness:

None at this price

My system is a Wadia 830 CD player, Proceed AVP and AMP 5, Martin Logan Quests, Aerius i's (Upgraded from PSB Stratus Gold i's) and a Velodyne HGS 12 sub.

There is also a review of the Q10's on this site.

The ability to get a combination of Copper with Silver coating Balanced interconnects was just the ticket. These interconnects significantly opened up the sound stage and the range of my system. They are very true to the recording. (Read they don't smoothe out the sound like MIT's or other processing cables) What is on the media is what you will hear. They take about two weeks to break in. After that time the sound from the system is perfect.

The cables are transparent.
The sound stage is opened up.
The sound seems to be "quicker" for lack of a better word.
The balanced configuration just works better for clairity.

In addition to the great product great service was received from Darren at DH Labs and from Jeff at www.Value-Audio.com. They worked together to get me the right level and combination of cables. (This was important because I am running 23/96 kHz from my pioneer DVD into the Wadia and then on to the Proceed AVP then to the AMP 5. All this required 8 Balanced interconnects.... )

Needless to say, the sound is GREAT!
