Strength:

detail retrieval, extended and controlled base, natural sounding, zero surface noise and silent motor.

Weakness:

fiddly speed change. Rega mount only at present. Currently only being sold through E bay shop and maybe through Moth Products who supply arms etc to SRM.

I auditioned the SRM Tech "Arrezo" back to back with my Pink Triangle PT Too in Nov 2006.
The Arrezo had a more extended and controlled base than the Pink, whilst retaining all the good qualities of the Pink such as lack of colouration, stunning detail retrieval and the liquid mid range exemplified in the Pink. The Arrezo is also visually stunning and I bought the Arrezo on the spot ! At home in my own system it just sounds great with all source material. Guitars and percussion just sound more real and with extended listening it bacame clear that the Arrezo can extract even more detail than the Pink. I paid £550 for the Pink motor in 1986, so at £600 in today's money makes the Arrezo a veritable bargain. Stuart Mitchell also has fly wheel and power supply upgrades for this motor ( due to be reviewed in future Hi Fi Plus magazine I'm told).
