Onkyo TX-SR506 7.1 Channels Receiver Receivers

In the case of Onkyo A/V receivers,“entry level” means a whole lot more than just affordability and standard functionality. You won’t find a better example than the TX-SR506, which also offers high-definition media capability and advanced sound correction technologies. With an HDMI platform handling 1080p video from three sources, the TX-SR506 brings polish and peak performance to high-definition displays and sources. Legendary Onkyo amplification drive and power set the foundation for delivering bass crunch and vocal clarity.

Clear sounded powerful amp with a lot of functions and
sound field.
Aluminium front plate, massive power supply peaks at 480 watts.
Discrete circuits, big heat sink-not needed electric ventillator.
Can be loaded from 4 to 8 ohms at all channel.
Its best sound on movies but the stereo sound is good too...
In pure audio mode it has enough power at low levels,
good bass response, clear vocal and high frequencies.
It was a good choice to change from my older sony qs serie a/v unit to
this one.
