Weakness:

The remote(s) should be used to collect dust as a paper weight on top of the manual. I guess Denon had to cut the cost somewhere and they did it in the remote department.

This is without a doubt the best value AVR on the market today. The things this black box can do are just short of a computer with a sound card on steroids. If you want excellent surround sound, networking, & upgradability the 3808 is the ticket.
I like to tweek things, and being able to do that from my laptop makes it very easy. With a laptop I can access just about every feature and adjust/control it.

If you are in the market for a new AVR I would make sure you check the 3808 out.

Customer Service

I have used Denons customer service a few times (online email). I can usually get a response in about 3 days. Not too bad.
