I decided I might do this product some justice and actually give it a decent review. Thus far we have one guy who doesn't actually own the product...Then we have Mr Smith and Mr Lee from the States we seem to have remarkably similar writing styles. 8)

This product is sublime. To put the system into context, the power amp is the Chord 1200C, Wilson Benesch ACT1 speakers, Nordost SPM Reference throughout. Source is the Musical Fidelity 3D. For this to be a fair review, one would ideally have other amps to compare this to. The fact of the matter is....Partner this amp well...I thoroughly recommend the above combo...And your hunt for a decent pre-amp will end. I am simply satisfied every time I listen to my music after a hard days' work.

The strongest suit of the above system is that it sounds great with ALL discs. Even chart CD's sound great. What's the point in spending thousands of pounds on a system only to lose half of your CD collection?

The above system is magical. Wilson Benesch and Chord have always had a long-standing relationship and if you listen to this system you can see why. Chord amps are not bright...It is simply highlighting weaknesses in the rest of the system. Music is simply allowed to flow naturally. Very similar to the properties of the SPM Reference cable.

All in all. Just lovely.
