This is one hell of a preamp. I have the MK11 version, which is a big improvement over the original version. Exceptional detail, definition and gain. Have used in both bi-amp and single application. Last used with ARC D-130,a good combination. This unit is a hybrid so, it gives you the best of both worlds (tube & solidstate). I would encourage anyone who is looking for a good linestage and can't afford Ls-15 to get one but get MK11 or 2BMK11 version you won't be disappointed. Especially when a good tube is used, like the russian tubes the guys at the Cable Company have. I just replaced it(very relunctantly)with the LS-15 which is definitely better but..... The LS-2 is no slouch. I'm surprised there haven't been more reviews, comments etc. on this unit.
