Strength:

Very detailed.

Weakness:

Sounds a bit flat, lack of warmth, but it is improving with time. The shop one which had more useage sounded better. The remote control is REALLY UGLY!

I purchased the NAD C352 (RRP $1200) for NZ$2000 including a pair of mission m34 floor standers (RRP $1000) and some cabling. I compared this amp to Yamaha AX-596 and a Marantz (?6100) and rotel RA-01. The Rotel RA-1072 sounded better but was too expensive and the guy in the rotel shop was annoying! When i got home i was a bit dissapointment but the sound is getter better with more use. I bi-amped my speakers, and that made a difference. NB - My source is a sound card in my computer =)

Weakness:

too big remote for my taste

I have experience with NAD integrated amps more than six years.First I had C340,then C350 and now I move to C352.In the meantime I began to be a big fan of NAD amps because of their warm, dynamic, detailed and involving sound. I matched them with very good CD player California Audio Labs DX2 and B&W 603S2 speakers (in my opinion better than S3)together with Van Den Hul Thunderline interconnectors and CS-122 speaker cables. This budget combination sounds very fine to my opinion, but through time I need more like everybody else, because our hobby is like never ended story. And now came C352.My dilemma was to move or not to that model.Finnaly I decided and now I am happy, very happy with improvement I did. This amp.is simply fantastic. That's the biggest improvement that NAD people did to ant previous model(C350).Sound is so transparent, involving, dynamic,so you can hear every detail of the music you love.Stereo imaging is superb for its class. There is enough bass, mids and treble, all in aspects of real audiophilia. Also there is enough power to move any speaker in a proper way (more than 100W per channel-according to AudioDE measurements)and will to cope with different speaker loads. Finally NAD people did a decent built outside the amp.Case is metal, with aluminium front panel, removable power cord and good stabile stands. All in all this amp. is amazing and I rate it absolutely best value for your money at the market in this moment(in category under 1000 EURO). PS. -Please NOTE,there is not CT model.Every model at the market is the same with all improvements that NAD people did to pre-production model tasted in WHAT HI-FI,june,last year(problems with bass). There is only difference in the colour of the case(silver titanium or classic grey). -MY ADVICE:remove the jumpers from the beck(pre amp. to amp.)and replace it with decent short connection of interconnctors(directional).I did that for three times and every time I hear the difference.

Strength:

excellent connectors, simple controls, clean power, great sound with my b&w speakers.

Weakness:

none so far

Excellent sound compared to my Harmon Kardon av55 receiver. Extremely powerfull, the rated power output does not begin to describe the capabilities of this unit. I could definitely have used the less powerfull c320bee.
