sound beautiful looks great, how do you do better for the money?

Great tube amp for my book shelve speakers. Hooked them up to my Tannoy Ref. speakers and it was a little disappointing. Got rid of the tubes they shipped with..Replaced with Tung-Sol and could not be happier. Not for headbangers. This put out a nice silky smooth sound. It is rare that I shut the amp off.

cheap tubes. probably made in subhuman conditions in china

silky sound beautiful looks great service not the best amp in the world but how do you do better for the money? maybe some better tubes, part. drivers would help. mopped the floor with a super modded hafler SS amp. if your speakers are only 91 db efficient make sure the room is small and that you are not a headbanger. give it a try; what do you have to lose?

Involving neutral sound. Looks good. Quality built.

A tad bright while very pleasant sound. A tad thin while distinct exact bass. Can't play head bang loud. Distorts loud out put, 10% distortion more likely.

Wanted a hifi integrated amplifier with neutral sound, power out put was not important. I was pleasantly suprised by the Dared vp16. I recommend it for quality conscious people with limited economy.
