Strength:

I really appreciate the amount of power they offer, as it allows me to get a lot of volume out of my instruments and speakers. In addition, the sound quality is superb – I can hear every detail in music that wouldn't be presented as clearly on other amplifiers. Most Recommended: Tile and Grout Cleaning Goodyear.

Weakness:

No issues so far.

Strength:

If you use it as a bi-amp, you can't go wrong. Nice, open soundstage, a lot of detail in the way the music is played, and great, tight bass. | www.drywallaugusta.com

Weakness:

Make sure to take apart and clean, lubricate, and tighten the output jacks. Mine weren't perfect, but they were easy to fix.

Strength:

The tape cueing handle is very stable, and attenuates directly the output level without immediately exploding the tweeters or headphone while fast winding. The real time counter is precisely, as it doens't show milliseconds. But hey, an average cd player isn't supplied with it too. The use of pitch control during recording is a must too. I have had this amplifier a few years now and have been using it on and off for background music at dinner parties and home get togethers. Its a lovely sounding and nicely designed baby power amp. Decided to move it into my study to run computer and CD player system connected to Technics SBC - 250 speakers on my desk. What a revelation - clean clear musical sound from both sources and I dont have to leave the study while working. Its really handy and high quality. Now the hunt for a small pair of Yamaha speakers to pair with the amp. This amp is a sleeper and high quality: I have the M2 and C4 amplifiers in my main system and another Yamaha AS 500 in a second system. It is as good as those other amplifiers only has lower output.

Strength:

Used in a bi-amp configuration, you cannot go wrong. Nice open soundstage, very detailed musical presentation, with terrific tight, punchy bass.

Weakness:

Make sure to take the output jacks apart, clean, lubricate, and tighten them. Mine were a little wonky but were easy to improve.

Well surprise, surprise...had used this as a 4 channel power amp in my home theatre system to run 2 pairs of surrounds. Amp did the job, nice tone, surrounds were sounding nice and spacious. Lo & behold, a pair of PSB Century 800i speakers come up on Craigslist for cheap. Bring them home and decide to bi-amp them with the little Yamaha M-35.

Sweet, sweet candy...a marriage made in heaven! This unassuming little amp coupled with the PSB's invited The New Miles Davis Quintet to come & play in my basement stereo room! Close your eyes & the musicians are seemingly in the room with you. This amp/speaker combo makes music sound like instruments. I seriously did not expect that kind of performance from this amp. Simply a wonderful sounding unit.
