All strengths, so far.....Six channels, looks great, each channel has a separate power level adjustment, and it’s simple and easy to figure out, which is important because I bought it used and had no owner’s manuals. I had to contact the previous owner on how To work the preamp (a Rotel RSP-980). Not the preamp’s fault. I’m not tech savvy and had no manual for it either.

If you are into Bi-Amping which dramatically improves sound dynamics especially for the A/V enthusiast. This baby is it. Just the STAND ALONE/SEPARATED Channels with there own power makes this a powerhouse. Do not be fooled by the 50 watts. It is how flexable this baby is where each channel is separated, that works extremely well with High & Low connections on each speaker of 2.1,3.1,4.1,5.1,6.1 and 7.1 system configurations. FOR THE PRICE and being a ROTEL. I can reassure you THIS IS a BARGAIN. The sound quality is drastically improved with a RKB-650. This AMP is well worth having if SURROUND SOUND and having each channel driven independently is a personnel requirement. A PLUS for BI-AMPING. Read the SPECS and if you are technically savy you will know what this machine is capable of. Just the weight of this monster is enough to find out more detail of what is in this machine.
I am always on a look out for another one. They are RARE to find. And for 200-300 dollars today damn I am no fool.
