I recently got my hands on an Pioneer Elite M-72 amplifier, along with a C-72 pre-amp. I needed to upgrade the power and sound quality for a pair of Paradigm Moniotr 9's. They are bi-ampable and can handle way more than my beginners level Sony DE-885 amp could deliver. The fact that it can run 3 sets of speakers, confidently, is a huge plus. It weighs about 60lbs and puts out 100wpc in stereo and 50wpc using both amps. It runs a 12" car subwoofer easily and is stable down to 2ohms. It sounds great and is so much more powerful than the Sony's 100wpc! You almost have to wonder how they are rating the watts? Anyway, it works great for bi-amping a pair of speakers and I couldnt be happier with it.
