I am a "newbie" in the world of component home theater and have been reaserching a/v equipment. With the advice of a friend I was about to purchase the ATI-1505 when I read a magazine review of the Outlaw 750. I was intrigued and did some more research and decided I couldn't find any reason why the ATI-1505 was any better than the Outlaw so I bought it. I received it today and took it over to a friends house. He disconnected his ATI-1506 and plugged in the Outlaw. The Outlaw sounded wonderful, well structured bass and very precise treble & midrange. The ATI sounded wonderful too, with perhaps slightly better soundstage but definitely not much more amp than the Outlaw. I'm feeling like a total genius for buying this amp unheard, and If I'm in the market for whatever they produce next they will certainly have my undivided attention

I recently purchased an Outlaw Audio Model 750 power amp. The soundstage is very detailed. The amp is paired with a B & K Reference 10 preamp and Paradigm speakers including subwoofer. Dolby Digital from my RCA dish sounds great as well as Stereo from a Musical Fidelity E-624 CD player. Their is no hum from the amp and it runs extremely cool. I think it is a great value for a high power 5-channel amp.

Strength:

tight bass, clarity, great value

Weakness:

can't think of any

I bought this a couple of weeks ago at the Home Entertainment Expo in Newport Beach, I was glad I had any oppurtunity to listen to it, as with a purchase like this its hard to plop down the money before hearing it. You do have a 30 return policy, but must pay for shipping... You don't have to worry though it sounds great. I am uprgrading in steps, I'm currently using my Sony STR-DA30ES as a pre/pro with B&W CDM7SE AND CDMCSE up front and my old JBL's in the surrounds... everything from music and movies sounds better, tighter, withmore clarity... BUY IT!

The Outlaw 750 is a fantastic amp. It holds it's own with the ATI 1505.Having owned both, my vote is for the Outlaw. It has 15 more watts and costs almost600 dollars less. Sound wise its a tie. This amp is a bargain .Highly recommended.

Strength:

Build quality, price, simplicity, definitely customer service

Weakness:

none that I can think of

This is my first step towards moving to separates. Using the criteria I put together, I've done more than a year of research through reading magazines and internet forum reviews and end up with this model as my choice. After more than a month of use, about 200 hours, I can only say all the positives about this amp. I agree 100% to the positive reviews posted by other owners to this forum therefore no need to put readers to boredom. I'm still using an Onkyo 656 as pre/pro since the Outlaws' pre/pro are not available yet. But because of the major improvement on the quality of music and HT audio I'm experiencing, I can still wait a few more months for my new pre/pro to arrive. Definitely, I will be upgrading my current speakers, Polk RT-600 main and CS-245 center, since it seems that my Outlaw 750 is an overkill to these speakers.

Strength:

Open sound, powerful, reasonable price, size

Weakness:

Humming when first turning on

I've had this for about three monthes now, and I can say that I like it alot. I recently biamped my speaker using the outlaw for the lower notes and my Kenwood receiver for the higher notes, and it sounds even better. The stage is wide open, and I feel like I am sitting at a live concert whenever I listen to anything. Its definitely the best bang for the bucks, much better then any receivers for twice the price out there.

My other components:
Mitsubishi TV 65 inch digital
Kenwood 990 receiver/preamp/biamp
Paradigm 9semk3 front
paradigm monitor 3 rear
paradigm cc300 center
M&K 150 sub
pioneer dv414 DVD player
panasonic VCR
Denon CD player
Monster cables

Strength:

Price/performance. Sounds awesome!

Weakness:

None.

I've never had separates before, and WOW what a difference. I now hear things in movies and music that I didn't hear before. The detail in the sound is amazing. I bought Outlaw because of the reviews I've seen in magazines and online. I'm not disappointed! My system:

Outlaw 1050 receiver (used as pre-amp/processor)
Outlaw 750 power amp
Toshiba SD-3109 DVD player
B&W 603's front
B&W CC6 center
Boston Acoustic CR6 surrounds
Velodyne CT-100 subwoofer

I eagerly await Outlaws pre-amp/processors. The value you get for your money from this company is excellent.

Strength:

Sound quality, detail, build quality

Weakness:

None so far

I got my Outlaw 750(B stock) last Wednesday and I am now a believer in having a separate amp. Oh my! What a difference in sound this amp makes. Music sounds so much more detailed and precise and movies on DVD are fantastic. There is an overall smoothness and coherency to the sound that just has to be heard to be believed.

I have it hooked up to my Yamaha receiver(used as a preamp) and it works fine with this setup. My Paradigm speakers so much more alive now. This amp is a great value and highly recommended! Great customer service and tech support from Outlaw also.

My system:
Paradigm Ref. 20's-front and surrounds
Outlaw 750 amp
Yamaha RX-V795 receiver
Pioneer DV-414
Proscan VCR
DH Labs Silver Sonic speaker wire and interconnects
