Music Reference RM-200 Amplifiers

Music Reference RM-200 Amplifiers

DESCRIPTION

Using only a single matched pair of KT-88 or 6550 as well as a single 6BQ7 driver per channel, the RM-200 achieves over 100 WPC, but the story doesn't end there. While most vacuum tube amplifiers lose power while the speaker load impedance drops, the RM-200 actually increases output power as the speaker load becomes more challenging.

some may need more power. 145 watts @ 4ohms

This hybrid, SS input stage and tube ( 6550 ) output stage, design is amazing. It has all the strengths of a good tube design with great bass. Mids are warm, clear and alive. Highs are very extended with no glare or grain. Bass while not as powerful as the Sim Audio is defined and strong.
