Strength:

Sturdy design

Weakness:

none for normal purpose

It's a very rigid build amplifier, I have never seen this quality before on other normal Japanese brands except for a few.
It's also complete DC from end to end, no capacitors in signal ways, very rare!

Strength:

visualy apealing in an industrial way,clean effortless power with great head room

Weakness:

wieghs as much as the nieghbors rottwieler after a two burglar lunch.

sounds about as good as any one could desire, very close race with any, other amp mitsubishi should bring this baby back. if you have a chance to get one grab it,you wont be sorry ,and if your friends run high dollar equipment you can make them feel ill with envy after one listen.

Since 1979, I had the matching tuner but just recently acquired these amps.Hooked them up to a pair of Infinity Quantum 2's, and the sound was clear &
pure & effortless. It seemed like the equipment just sat there, totally oblivious to the fact that it was driving a hungry pair of 4 ohm Quantums.
The wait was worth it. The amp is massive, a dual mono design throughout;
the preamp docks directly to the amp. Controls are clean and of good quality.
