Summary:

One of the very best I heard so far. I was already expecting a very good performance but these amps really surprise me when I listen to their presentation in my system for the first time. They have a superb midrange, well articulated bass, clear and clean highs, speed and definition in spades, a near holographic soundstage and above all else drama. Lot’s of drama.

And yet… The presentation is quite comfortable on the ears; in a way that I didn’t believe it was possible whit a solid state design.

Its signature resides on a natural, almost analog like, presentation. It’s an extremely transparent and neutral design and cables and other components will have a very deep effect on the sound, taking you to hell or haven in a snap.

Expensive, even used, but sound and built quality are well worth of the price.

Strengths: Superb midrange, speed, dynamics and transparency if a natural and balance presentation. Robust and precise construction. It looks and also runs cool.

Weaknesses: Can be quite unforgiving if wrong equipment or cables. Best use if full Goldmund electronics. Not the deepest bass, like you see if VTL amps, for instance, but very control and articulated.
