Strength:

Maybe the chassis.

Weakness:

It's rated 200W/8ohm. It can make a lot of noise but this amp is unable to control the sound. I was trying to do everything possible with my equipment to find the best combination , unfortunately unsuccessfully. No bass nor highs. Perhaps a little bit of the mids control was acceptable.

OK. When I got this piece I didn't know I am gonna be writing rewiew. I think there are possible buyers who should now a little bit about this product if they intend to buy it.

Strength:

Musicality, Smoothness, Transients, Bass

I have had the BC26 in my system for about 2 months now and am ecstatic at the performance of this amp. I chose Blue Circle because I was looking for an amp that captured the midrange with tube-like musicality yet had the power to capture transients and generate credible bass. In my opinion, the BC26 does this as well as any amp under $5000. The midrange is very close to what you would find with a good Cary or CJ amp - smooth, musical, slightly on the warm side. Yet the BC26 also gives you a full, taut bass that gives the overall sound a full, rich quality. Strength:

Built like a tank. Tons of power. Clean, fast, accurate bass response. Excellent dynamics and dynamic control. Nicely spread sound stage. Tonally very, VERY realistic. low noise floor. Musical!!!

Weakness:

Not as good as BC8 monos :( Reveals weaknesses in front end equipment. Kinda heavy (85 lbs.) ¸

Folks, this is an honest to God, truly neutral piece of equipment. Doesn''t impose any sonic signature whatsoever; it just takes what your other equipment gives you and makes it louder..

There is nothing similiar, but I have owned and compared this thing to Krell, Cary, Macintosh, Naim, Bryston, Monarch, Classe, Sonic Frontiers, Pass, Ayre, and Rowland.o
