I've used this amp for about two year togethr with Celestion 3 speakers, Sony MZ-R30 portable MiniDisc and Sony CDP-497, CD and speakers qutie cheap with excellent performance. After recent cable upgrades, Cardas Hexlink Golden 5C with the CD-player, Monster Interlink 400MkII Portable with the MD, TaraLabs TFA III speaker-cables, and AudioQuest Indigo+ internal speker cables, the system improved much, revealing the true sound of the amp. I will say that the CD and speaker are the limiting factors of the system, and will give the amp a 5, for excellent performance. It's tiny, cute and yet powerful.

My Hi-Fi systems included Sony DVP7700 (used as CD Player);Music Fidelity X-24K as decorder; Pro Ac Tablette speakers and Aura V100 apmlifier which I bought it last week. I found the sound of the Aura V100 is warm and high resolution in both treble and base. It's especially good for playing Jazz and vocals CD. I like especially its small size; but the ampiflier generates much heat which makes the chasis very warm even the volumn is not turned on. Overall I lke VA100 very much. It out performs the AudioLab 9000. I recommend it to general audio enthusiast.

Rencently I bought a Pro-Ject 1.2, because my tube amp doesnot have a MM stage, I have to come back to my Aura which has
a MM input and also headphone jeck, initially I want to buy
a stand alone MM stage like Creek OBH-8, after I gave the Aura
a shot, I still feel surprised that how good an amp can be
at such a low price.

My system: Aura VA100 (Amplifier), Marantz CD67SE (CD-Player), KEF Q15 (Speaker), Cabletalk 3.1 biwire (Speaker cable), and Cabletalk moniter 2.1 (Inter-connecter).
I bought Aura VA100 together with above CD-Player, speaker, and cable two month age. I am very satisfied with this amplifier since it produces wonderful sound: good imaging, bright and rhythmic high, deep and clear base, and right timing. I am especially impressed by its deep and clear bese. It is far far better than my old Musical Fidelity A1. I think Aura VA100 is particularly good with KEF Q15. Q15 is said to be a little bit weak in base compared with Q35. However, when it comes with Aura VA100, which is known to have strong in base, its bese becomes deeper richer and clearer. You may need stand to improve sound.

Buy with confidence if you like musical high and deep clear bese! You will not be disappointed!
