Strength:

Good power into low impedences, clipping indicator

Weakness:

obscenely noisy fan

The fan is rediculously loud unless you put this amp in another room. I ripped it open and put a 100 ohm resistor in series with the fan. I can barely hear it now, and even when I run it hard it barely gets warm, but I have lots of airspace around it. Heat could be a problem if you have a rack full of them with no airspace inbetween.

I'm using it the my Clark Tactile Transducer which is 4 ohms and very power hungry. This amp can put out plenty of power all the way down to 15 Hz, but I can't comment on the sound quality since I can't hear it.

It's well built inside and has a toroidal power transformer. The power devices bolt directly to the side of the case so even without the fan they keep cool.

Once you quiet down the fan this is a good amp. Stock you won't like it.
