While looking for a new system I tried out the D 130. Soundstaging was reletively good with reletivly good depth, however, bass was not very well controlled and tended to be less defined than Audio Researche's valve amplifiers. Highs were crisp but could they get annoying if the amplifier was hooked up to analitical speakers.It was disapointing and I ended up buying a Krell KAV-300i, which sounded better with higher quality partnering equipment than the D130 did, for much less money.
