Strength:

The remote has a screen that takes u thought the set up sets as well as on screen programing of varies sound fields! It also has 2 component input's 1 out to hd tv monitor.
As well as 6 S-vidio inputs it that was upscaled from the old yellow compsite wires and technology giving better picture images

Weakness:

The olny weakness i found is it didnt have enough audio inputs to hook up all the hi tech ins and outs etc my reel to reel recoder cassette deck dvd recorder mini disc recorder and cd burner. Guess I'm an audio nut when it comes to toys!

Besides haveing lots of punch a 75 minimum rms into 8 ohms it will not drop power with 6 0r 4 ohms. With 6 decrete channels of sound it shines
Would say it has the got lots of reviews from critics as the best buy of the yr 4 the buck in an audiophile mag when i seen it in the pawn shop 3 months after it had come out i grabed it it has meet all my needs and i loved it till i bought a newer more powerful yamaha 5 yrs later I still say it is the most advanced peice of audio of its day and although a few years later they have added more sound fields and a few more inputs this 1 is plenty good enough 4 the averege home!
