Strength:

Powerful clean sound!I really like this receiver and I aint going broke for discrete, high currents.

Weakness:

You feel like your receiver is crap because you dont have discrete, high current amplification though it sounds excellent, and thats what counts.

Ive had the pleasure of listening to this receiver for some time.At one point I was considering getting rid of it after hearing that high current, discrete receivers are better.Almost bought into the hype until my roomate came in with his new Onkyo502 receiver which sounds very good but after doing a side by side comparison I realized that the Pioneer has more guts and plays louder and is as clean if not cleaner sounding than the Onkyo.Discrete, high current dont mean crap.

Similar Products Used:

Onkyo, also JVC,Kenwood,Sony you know, the cheap disgusting ones with tons of POWER that everyone says sucks.
