Strength:
Everything!! This reciever can do it all. Iam pleased. Great price, great sound, and it is easy to use!
Weakness:
Not that I've noticed! This unit could please just about anyone! I see that my reciever has finally been posted on Audio Review! This is an excellent unit. To say that it is awsome is understatement of the year! I can't begin to tell you how easy this thing is to set up, let alone learn how to use. It is an excellent price for a 6.1 A/V Reciever. The DSP modes on this thing are real handy. There isn't that many of them, but the modes it does have sound great.Great power for a great price it has everything anyone would need! My set up is: Panasonic SA-HE 100K Acoustic Research Gold Plated Digital Optical Cable Pioneer PD-F 908 16 gauge Recoton speaker cable KLH 915 OAK speakers Similar Products Used: None |

Strength:
6.1 surround for under $300, More than enough A/V inputs for the average user, Great sound, and it's not too difficult to work
Weakness:
Speaker tuning could be easier. I used a JBL 6 speaker system that included a 300w subwoofer, and a JBL N-CenterII for the front center channel. With 6.1 surround it sounds awsome. 100 watts per channel to six channels is great too. Tuning each speaker is tricky. Plenty of A/V inputs. This is not a begginer's reciever. But for under $300 you get 6.1 surround. I would recomend thick guage wires. I use 12 gauge. Similar Products Used: Kenwood VR-517 |
