Strength:

Great DD sound. Very good recever for the money.

Weakness:

Remote!!

Im a Marzntz nut, and when I moved from Pro-Logic to 5.1
Marantz was my only choice.The SR580 is a good entry level
5.1 for Marantz.The Matrix and SPR are just alsome in DD.
The remote lacks the easy steps you want,but its not bad to learn.
