wont go too loud in a big room,had 1 $50 dollar denon before that played louder and the sound quality was just as good.Only reason i ordered was because I wanted to get 6.1.Also,if you are interested in H/K order with confidence from www.onecall.com.I was told my order would arrive on monday and i actually got it on saturday!! GREAT SERVICE from onecall.com BAD SERVICE from Harman Kardon

If using in a bedroom like mine this receiver should have enough power but if it is going into a large living room i wouls strongly recommend getting something else.Also,I had a ground loop when I connected my receiver to my comp to listen to mp3's and i emailed harman kardon and didnt get a response still after 1 week so the Product support is on BAD in my opinion.
