AVR 881

The AVR-881 is an A/V receiver that has inherited advanced technology for high-quality sound from Denons high-end models. The power amp section features a discrete configuration to ensure equal response from all five channels, each of which is driven with a robust 105 watts of power to let you enjoy rock-solid, dynamic sound. As the AVR-881 is equipped with Dolby Pro Logic, Dolby Digital and DTS decoding, all of your favorite music and movie sources are reproduced with outstanding clarity and exciting spaciousness. The AVR-881 naturally provides a generous array of input and output terminals, including 2 optical digital inputs and 1 coaxial digital input for audio, and 4 sets of composite video inputs and 4 sets of S-video inputs for video sources.

This unit looks impressive and sounds very clear. The power supply unit is heavy-duty allowing it to stay cool under the most demanding requirements by the user. This unit is much better than the Harmon AVR-45. If you liked HArmon, you will like Denon much better. Excellent value for the money.
