I bought this unit with speakers new in 1999 for $500 on sale (Sears was no longer selling this model). My wife and I have enjoyed the experience with this receiver. However with in the last 6 months the sub and left speaker channels have gone out. The sub going out was not that big of an issue because I could wire the sub differently, but now the left channel going out is a problem. It does have an A and B speaker set up for the front speakers but wireing them that way didn't seem to help. I now have to get a new receiver I was going to wait about another year and get the one I want, but that is about $2000 and I don't have that at the moment. I haven't decided if I am going to get a new denon or another brand for now. I wouldn't recomend getting this model because of how old it is but I would highly recomend Denon they are very good. with alot of options, and this one lasted me almost 11 years.
