Strength:

As a home threater set up its decent, not the best. The menus are a bit clunky and not the best UI out there.Considering it is about 6 years old model I realize the update models is easier to use. What really shine is just the regular 2 channel audio setting to a pair of speakers. Its has really decent extensions,a bit of warmth, good soundstagin on the width and depth.Instruments seperation is good and control of bass is very good. One clear weakness is its attack, its just a tad slow.Pretty surprised to hear the sound quality from a AVR receiver below the $1000 range. As a home theater set up its good but as stand alone amp for home listening its surprising good.

Weakness:

Bass and speed is its weakness.Very outdated interface and there is a small "pop" when turning off and on.
