Strength:

It's silver in color.

Weakness:

Doesn't work!

This remote will not work with my new Panasonic TV. None of the codes work. I am angry; it's supposed to be universal, yet it clearly is not. I will return it immediately.

Strength:

None.

Weakness:

The fact that you have to punch in a bunch of different numbers and codes to turn on the TV; and everything else that it doesn't do.

The second universal remote replacement I had to buy because my dog had eaten my last one, it's not what I was told when I bought it. I received no instructions manual in the box, and the disappointing remote cannot be returned because I got it on sale. Don't bother wasting your money.

Strength:

the fact that it could controll all these other things. And the fact that it looks more sylish.

Weakness:

i find you have to push the button hard sometimes to get it to work.

I found this waas a great product, finally i could controll many of my componets, without switching remotes, made life allot easier

Weakness:

No auxiliary devices can be programmed. Auto code finding feature completely useless

For a "Home Theater" Universal Remote this is a sad example. Having to press multiple combinations of buttons to get a feature to function, almost makes me reach for the basket of remotes for the individual components themselves.
Although every component seemed to have a correct code, most common features for most components are dulled, i.e. CD Player could only be stopped and started.

Strength:

My dogs haven't eaten it yet.

Weakness:

My dogs haven't eaten it yet. It's programming & learning functions are virtually useless. It did not operate specific components identified in the manual. Jenson customer support was not helpful at all.

Don't waste your time thinking you'll be able to find a quality product at your local department store. Order the Sony RMV900. My friend, the local audiophile prefers the latter.
