Strength:

More shelf depth than most stands to accomodate larger equipment. Can purchase shelf modules to stack on top of the base unit. Good construction & looks.

Weakness:

None

Originally I just purchased the base module (did not know that additional shelves could be purchased to stack on top of the base). Later purchased additional shelf modules which stack on top of the base module. The shelf depth is greater than on most stands which is handy for larger components. Rear access to equipment is unobstructed so that cable installation is easy.

Each add-on shelf has an 8.5" height. You can cut the supports to customize heights for your system which I find to be handy. Fixed shelf heights on other stands always seemed to present problems (either to much or not enough height between each shelf. These units are very sturdy.

I will stay with this type of stand because of the flexability of its modular approach.
