This amp stand is built like a tank. It's a real "guy" product. With the black wrinkle-finish steel, it's attractive, in an industrial sort of way. (It won't fit in too well with the Victorian era sofa in your living room.) I've got about 100 lbs. on it, and it could probably handle twice that. The adjustable cone points are well made, although the threaded studs seem thin compared to the construction of the rest of this piece. As long as all four cones are threaded all the way in, this thing is an immovable object, but as you raise it up by unthreading one or more cones, it starts to get a little wobbly.
