Small size. Strong bass and treble response.

Mid-range is a bit weak. This is especially apparent in the sounds from the rear speakers.

The speakers were purchased as part of the Sony HT-1000D home theatre package. The package was $799.00 at Best Buy.

Overall, the speakers are a good value for the money. They are not top of the line and I do not recommend them for any audio enthusiast or audiophile. Casual listeners will find them to be just fine.

Sony speaker stands (model WS-F150) can be purchased from Sony for $79.95 per pair, plus shipping and sales tax. I ordered two pair for my speakers. The stands were on back order for a few weeks. Sony will UPS them to me as soon as they come in.
