i bought tv about 3 years ago and it has been the perfect preformer. these days i go into stores to look at plasmas,lcd,dlp,and dilas and when i get back home and look at the sony again,to me you still cant beat that tube picture from the sony xbr 800 36inch. it has a wealth of colors and detail. hooked up to componate input the picture is the best i have seen outside of hdtv.it also has dvi that i havent used yet but i hear thats its even better. the hd picture is stunning,i rarely use the tv speakers unless its just basic tv watching and the sub inside the tv really stands out. if you can still find one dont hesitate to get it because some one else will. it your a videophile this tv will complete your every need. Strengths:
colors, detail,film like pictures on dvd, many,many adjustments to contour the picture, huge amounts of inputs on the rear,including dvi,so many features that i cant name. Weaknesses:
