from Fry''s Summary: The Pinnacle Baby Boomer sub is a perfect fit for those who want a lot of bass, but don''t have room for a sub with a 12 or 15" woofer. The Boomer has 2-8" woofers powered by a 600 watt amp,all in an enclosure that''s less than 10" square. It''s very solidly built, and features line level and speaker level inputs, and comes with solid brass feet. The amount of bass that comes out of this thing is amazing! It is equally excellent on music and movies. The MSRP is $895,but it can be had for $600-$650 (I got mine for $639).Anyone looking for a reasonably priced,kick-ass sub should check out the Pinnacle Baby Boomer. Strengths: Incredible bass output for a 10" cube Weaknesses: none

from we are electronics Summary: got a KILLER price, arrived dead, sent to pinnacle and they fixed it and sent it back, took a while to break in and place, I was dissapointed for a few days because it was replacing an ACI titan, and it didnt sound too good, but now am starting to appreciate it more every day. It is definatly an underdog of a sub, you(at least I) woulnnt expect much from a cube less than 10" square , It will DEFINATLY EXCEED expectations once working optimally. the price I got it for was icing on cake!! If you are looking for an unobtrusive(little) sub with respectable performance, listen to a BABYBOOMER Strengths: TINY!! digital amp, good warrenty and service from pinnacle, can be had for around 600 if you look around Weaknesses: dont be too quick to judge sound, give it 20-30 hrs of constant music to "season " it, Similar Products Used: def tech pro sub 80, 100, 200, pf15tl+,velo ct120, aci titan II,acoustic reaserch 12"(POOPOO)

Review 4 of 6 Summary: A great buy! Strengths: I've been listening to this little baby in my house for about five months now. I love it. It's very musical, which is important for me, but has the power needed to blow everyoen out of their seats during movies. Coupled w/ my Yamaha reciever, through the LFE and an AudioQuest sub cable it's a serious hazzard to my landlady who lives below me.
During Das Boot the depth charges exploded more fiercly than I've heard on anyone elses system.
The acoustic suspesion design means it helps when it comes to music as well, if you're a PFunk afficionado like I am then you'll love what this sub does for your speakers.
For your reference I have a Yamaha 5140 connected to my home theater PC (3dfusion DVD), Paradigm Mini monitor fronts, Paradigm cc350 center and Paradigm Atoms rears.
I prefer the Pinnacle to all the Paradigms barring the Servo15. Too expensive for me. Weaknesses: It took me a few months to find a good place for the beast. I wish they'd provided a guide on placement. A friend suggested I use the technique outlined in the Paradigm subwoofers manual for placement. i.e. Sit in your listening position and have a friend move the sub around the room. That worked well for me.

Review 5 of 6 Summary: Best all around sub, simply a no brainner. The price, size, sound and above all the build and finish quality are second to none. One can spend more[as always]but for a 20x20 room, music AND ht,get one. Strengths: Sound performance, build quality, size, one can not go wrong with this sub,it lives up to its review in HOME THEATER MAGAZINE.
Weaknesses: DECAL ON BACK WAS NOT QUITE LEVEL,the only flaw i could muster. Similar Products Used: VELO,DEFIN.TECH
