Summary:
Actually I was looking into buying a pair of these speakers used. I don't know the model number but they are 63" tall by 24" wide and 5" deep. Maybe you can shed some light on the situation for me.

Review 3 of 3

Summary:
Purchased these speakers in 1982 for 1250.00, they were reduced from 1750 due to the fact that Phase Linear became stereo history. Tweeter is ribbon with responce up to 120khz with efficiency of 96.5dB (SPL/W at 1-meter distance).Mid-Range is a dome-shaped driver with dual suspension system utilizing a pure beryllium diaphragm held by wire suspension and tangential suspension. Woofer is 15 inch dia. with usable reponce down to lowest octave, magnet is 8 inch dia. ferrite. Network can be by-passed for tri-amp config. and encloser is made of Apitong veneer board. The reason for this review is to see if any of these are still around. The weight is 103lbs each, freg range is 28-120,000hz, Bass reflex type. They still sound great. Took the plaster off an upstairs bedroom ceiling (had to sheetrock room anyway). Just added a sub to go down below 20HZ without having to crank it too much (18" velo). I've gone to places in NY City that demo the high end stuff and have found that speakers with price tags above the 3000 range sound better. If anyone out in net-land has these I would like to hear from you! (will be needing refoaming soon, no problem, lots of places do that, will just go to bi-amp config. and re-adjust the velodyne x-over).

Marantz MA-9S2 Reference Series Power Amplifiers Review

Marantz MA-9S2 Power AmplifierThe list above has one tenet that I continue to hold true: high powered amplifiers are necessary to reproduce the full dynamic range of music with most speakers. This became apparent when I changed from the 100 Watt per channel Bella Extreme 100 to the 250 Watt.....

Lowther’s DX-65 driver in the Teresonic Magus XR Review

A new driver from Lowther is real news. A new five inch driver is even rarer news, so it was with great anticipation that I waited on this pair of speakers to arrive.

Aune Mini Headphone DAC User Review

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
