Price Paid:  $3000.00 from Melbourne

Summary:
The first thing one notes about this CD player is the size. Weighing in at 30kgs and some 45cms across it makes its presence known. The appearance is also distinctve as can be seen by the photo. Also the top loading facility takes getting used to, as the CD is held in place by a magnetic 'puk' and then closed with the large cover to hold the disc in a very secure manner. The player comes with an easy to use remote control. In the end its the music produced that matters and this player certainly delivers the goods, with very detailed and clear sound. It really digs out the small hidden details of songs that I have been listening to for years and didn't know were there. Hi-hats and bass are clearly seperated with the bass sounding natural and tight. Mention must be made of the vocal reproduction which makes the listener feel as though the singer is in the room. Outstanding!

Don't be put off by the fact this player comes from Opera Audio in Beijing. You may not have heard of them but they have clearly shown they know what good music reproduction is about with this player. For a detailed review of this player go to 6moons.com. If your looking for an excellent player take the time to listen to this unique unit.

Strengths:
Full rich sound reproduction.
Unique design.

Weaknesses:
None to mention.

Moscode 402Au OLT stereo power amplifier Review

George is adamant about the fact that the Moscode 402Au is not just a tube gain stage slapped onto a solid-state power amplifier; rather, it is a tube amplifier with a MOSFET output stage.

A new driver from Lowther is real news. A new five inch driver is even rarer news, so it was with great anticipation that I waited on this pair of speakers to arrive.

Aune Mini Headphone DAC User Review

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
