Review NaN of

Price Paid:  $220.00 from vanns

Summary:
I have been using this amplifier for more than 3 years and I don't have any complaints so far. I have compared it with a solid state class A amplifier I built, and this one is probably as good. Since then I have relied exclusively on this little guy.

Strengths:
build quality, clear sound, good bass, low distortion.

Weaknesses:
none.

Price Paid:  $299.00 from J&R Music World

Summary:
I listen only to classical music on CDs and DVD-audio.

The M-282 is used with a Panasonic DVD-S52 CD/DVD/DVD-Audio player used only for lsitening to music.
The speakers are Infinity Beta 20 bookshelf speakers with cabinets modified so that they are acoustic suspension cabinets.
My interconnects and speaker cables are Monster Cable M-Series.
The M-282 passive preamplifier input level control is to control the volume.
The M-282 is very neutral, detailed, and clear.
The M-282 and the DVD-S52 are left in bypass mode, and when the DVD-S52 begins playing the M-282 goes into active mode.
I am very happy with the M-282, it is a good value for the money.

Strengths:
Soundstage
Bass response

Weaknesses:
Only one pair of speaker output terminals.
Low level hum.

Review NaN of

Price Paid:  $250.00 from Law's Electronics

Summary:
This amplifier loses it's mind occasionally. I use it as a front channel amplifier in a Dolby Digital 5.1 system. It has an LED on the front panel that is red when there is no audio being input, and orange when audio is there and it is outputing power. This amplifier lights the red LED and does not output sound occasionally when there is audio present.

Weaknesses:
Loses it's mind sometimes.
