Summary:
Well since there still aren't any reviews for this product, I felt it was time to give skeptics my 3+ year review of this product. If your a music lover who loves warmth, detail and uncompromising linear bandwidth, this is your preamp. Since this preamp operates at a high voltage and has a high output, I have found that it is equally special for a sweet 3.1 home theater setup, due to its linear performance and dual outputs, which means you have output for your amp and sub! And since there are no tone/balance controls you are getting the purest audio path, hearing and feeling the way the original artist intended. Less really is more and Mr. Barnes proves it with this spectacular design. I would recommend mating this preamp to a solid-state amplifier to really experience how wonderful it is. Hook up a good amp, sub and speakers and prepare to be blown away. And on a technical note, get some good interconnects if you don't have any and give the amp a decent amount of time to warm up by playing it. Once its fully warmed up be prepared to spend hours and hours listening with no fatigue, only sweet audio heaven.

Strengths:
Linear, sweet performance, extensions of all frequencies without fatigue, high voltage/output, extra outputs for sub and amp, gold plated outputs, 6922 tubes for extended bandwidth (10 hz up to 100Khz), smart overall design/

Weaknesses:
Nothing really, picky audiophiles might want to put on their own removable power cord.

Similar Products Used:
Have used a homemade preamp with 12ax7's, but feel the 6922's are superior for hi-fi.

Moscode 402Au OLT stereo power amplifier Review

George is adamant about the fact that the Moscode 402Au is not just a tube gain stage slapped onto a solid-state power amplifier; rather, it is a tube amplifier with a MOSFET output stage.

Lowther’s DX-65 driver in the Teresonic Magus XR Review

A new driver from Lowther is real news. A new five inch driver is even rarer news, so it was with great anticipation that I waited on this pair of speakers to arrive.

Aune Mini Headphone DAC User Review

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
