Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $0.00 from Audio Concepts, Dall

Summary:
I agree with the previous reviewer. A great speaker for the money. Good
across the frequency range, perhaps a bit midrange forward; excellent and airy,
detailed tweeter and very supportive bass. If you have room space limitations,
these speakers are great in that they can be placed 4 inches from the back wall. If you want a good full range speaker and want to avoid a subwoofer, this speaker is a great option.
They sound great with Naim electronics(of course) but also great with others---besides my Naim CD5 and Nait5, I also use them with a Sony SACD player and
the Ayre Integrated amp with fantastic results.

Strengths:
Full frequency range, extremely musical and detailed, good buy for a 3 way speaker, can be placed close to the back wall without muddiness, easy to drive.

Weaknesses:
Perhaps a bit midrange forward, but only noticed on not-so-good recordings. Excellent tweeter and supportive bass.

Similar Products Used:
Linn Ninka, various Spendor.

Review 3 of 3

Price Paid:  $2400.00 from hifi shop

Summary:
First of all, I'm a conservative reviewer, so don't let the ratings fool you. This is an excellent speaker that is a little more "round earth" than what most Naimees are used to. I demoed the Arivas against ATC, Neat, and the old Naim Intro II speakers. With my system (Rega Planet and Brio) the Arivas really did magic. Great Music!!! For $2400 you should expect a lot of speaker and the Arivas don't disappoint.

Strengths:
Awesome build quality! The tweeter is a ring radiator from Vifa that is also used in Sonus Faber, Audio Physics, and a few other models. Very smooth and detailed. The speaker is a true 3 way design so each driver gets its own enclosure. The midrange may be a touch forward, but not in a bad way. Great bass.

Weaknesses:
None. At this level it's so hard to rate something a giant killer, but this speaker is one of the best values for the money at this price point.

Similar Products Used:
ATC SCM12, Neat Petite, Neat Elite, Naim Intro II's, limited extent ATC 100's.

Aune Mini Headphone DAC User Review

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
