Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $275.00 from AudioAdvisor.com

Summary:
I absolutely love british speakers. These speakers are everything you would expect from a pair of missions: real bright, vocal clarity, presence, and no bass. If you enjoy british speakers then these are your pair of surrounds. I can't really say too much more.

Strengths:
Presence, vocal clarity, various mounting methods

Weaknesses:
pricey at 700

KEF, Wharfedale, Klipsch

Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $0.00 from Secher Audio

Summary:
Excellent Bi-pole speaker, the sound really envelopes around you from both sides. The mids and highs are very detailed and have good depth. The only drawback is they have absolutely no bass at all. According to the product specs they go down to roughly 96Hz, It would have been good if they were more like 70-75Hz as most 5.1 tracks usually have a dynamic range down to that level approx. As far as the build quality goes it is excellent like all the speakers in the 78 series and it is easily wall mounted using two screws in each rear/side wall. They also have bi-wiring termials if you have the need to bi-wire/bi-amp (personally I can''''t see why either would benifit on a surround channel like the mains amd center would). The posts are quite wide and if you prefer spade terminations on your speaker cable most types won''''t fit, you have to put one of the forks in the center of the post.

Strengths:
Bi-pole, Sound quality, well manufactured and very easy to wall mount.

Weaknesses:
No bass, not cheap!

Dali, and several other Mission.

Marantz MA-9S2 Power AmplifierThe list above has one tenet that I continue to hold true: high powered amplifiers are necessary to reproduce the full dynamic range of music with most speakers. This became apparent when I changed from the 100 Watt per channel Bella Extreme 100 to the 250 Watt.....

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
