Great sound for a cheap reciever (sale), with a dvd player works great! the best buy for first buyers and for money savers, excellent!

Strengths:
Great quality sound, low noise. Very nice style.

Weaknesses:
Just a mess with the AM/FM reciever using the "one touch operation", problem with the circle control in the front, can´t balance rear speakers!

Summary:
the model in review is the RX-3THBK that came with my first A/V component and it has live up to this date to his reputation. It is an excellent receiver for first time buyers.

Strengths:
It has performed flawlessly and never had failed me when in use.

Weaknesses:
none, no fancy extras (DTS decoder, etc)Unable to use it for more specialized use.
