Description:
The first two D-ILA rear projection sets to be offered will feature 52- (HD-52Z575) and 61-inch (HD-61Z575) screens. Both use the same 1280x720 pixels, 0.7-inch D-ILA (Direct-Drive Image Light Amplifier) device in a three-chip design. Both also feature JVCs exclusive Digital Image Scaling Technology (D.I.S.T.) that upconverts the signal to deliver sharper images, and the companys Four-Point Color Management system. Microdisplay rear projection TVs have been well-received by U.S. consumers, said Dan McCarron, National Product Specialist, Display Division, JVC Company of America. JVC enters this category with exclusive technologies that deliver superior performance and that have already proven themselves in terms of performance and reliability in JVC front projectors.
