from Brack Audio Toronto Summary: My first semi pro cassette deck. Bought it (full price) in 1990. Has given very good service over the years, though sound quality and taping quality is sounding tired. Dolby B,C,S. Dolby HX Pro. Bias adjust. For the price and reputation, very good recording. Now plays back tapes warped. Have had it serviced. Recording meters uneven. Dolby B is best. Two headmachine. Strengths: Good recording quality. Plays back tapes well. Works esp well with older Vinyl classical recordings. Two head machine. Easy to use. Weaknesses: Dolby C,S distorts. Some distortion in sound. Recording quality (lack of peak limit controls) has lately sounded harsh. Decided to move up to an older, three head machine,Tandberg 900 series,Pioneer,Denon,Lux. Similar Products Used: Older Technics tape cassette deck, early Sony Dolby machine, older Harmon-Kardon.
